HP stands for High pressure laminate are sheets with wood design coating or various other designs that are made of high pressure laminate. This type of facade coating is installed dry (without mortar) and in industrialized countries under the name of Rain Screen Or they are famous for rainproof walls. HPL panels with a thickness of 6-8-12 mm are typically used for interior and exterior cladding of buildings.
Among the uses of HPL facade in the construction industry, we can mention the implementation of dry facades, decorating the interior walls of buildings, decorating elevators and making kitchen cabinets. HPL panels are also widely used in other industries such as automobiles and wagons.
In the production process of these sheets, different layers of kraft paper along with the final coating of the sheet are impregnated with thermostatic resins and at a high temperature and pressure, it becomes a dense and integrated sheet. The resins used with their high stability and chemical resistance cause adhesion and irreversibility of different layers used in HPL sheets. For this reason, different weather effects have no effect on this sheet and do not reduce their quality over time.
HPL panel features
- Antibacterial, anti-electrostatic and washable
- Earthquake safety due to low elasticity and density
